Tips For Traveling With A Baby For The First Time
Baby Hudson’s first flight! :)
A few weeks ago we went to Del Ray, Florida with our son for some rest & relaxation. It was our first time traveling with Hudson, and like any new parents, Kyle and I were nervous how he would be on the plane! To our surprise (and delight) Hudson was a dream during both flights, and no one really realized we had a baby…so how did this happen!? PURE LUCK. Lol JK…Kyle and I have a deal where I don’t do poopy diapers, but I had to change a 💩 diaper on the plane because he’s 6’4” … so he lucked out!! 😂

Pro Tip: Schedule your flight as close to nap time as possible :)
Top 3 Tips:
Try to time your flight during nap time.
When the plane takes off and lands, put a bottle in their mouth! It helps so their ears don’t pop.
Don’t stress yourself out over driving to the airport and parking. If your budget allows, it’s worth it to get transportation or have a friend/family member drive you, so you don’t waste time looking for parking and unloading your bags. Have someone drop you right off in front and check in outside of possible at curbside. We actually saw a family who couldn’t find parking and then had to park offsite and take a shuttle with little ones and nearly missed their flight. NOT worth it.
TOP 4 PRODUCTS:
1. Packing Cubes
Away travel packing cubes are essential for baby and for parents! We used them to organize Hudson’s stuff in the diaper bag (which actually was just a backpack) broke it down into 2 cubes one with feeding supplies - formula, bottles, burp cloths, the other with change of clothes and diapers on the plane. This way it’s an easy grab when you need something and you’re not digging through a whole bag. I use one for everyday in my tote bag, too. I put formula, a bottle, and change of clothes in one and pop it in my tote.

2. Stroller Caddy
This Caraa Stroller Caddy is great for additional storage on your travel stroller. A caddy is a good item to invest in because you can store tons of stuff in it like extra pacifiers, formula, diapers and wipes.

3. Doona Stroller & Car Seat
This stroller is amazing for travel because it’s also a car seat and is super easy to fold and open (i can do it no problem) we used it in the air port and in driving to hotel easy to use getting in and out of Ubers with H to dinners and then convert to stroller to walk into resultant
Make it stand out
4. Pacifier Cases
Admittedly, I’m a germaphobe…so I really love these pacifier holders so you can easily pack backups and keep them clean.
