Michigan’s real estate market is stronger than ever following the onset of COVID, but for sale inventory remains at an all-time low, which is making for quite the COMPETITIVE market! Every home that I’ve put an offer on lately has MULTIPLE offers on it. In fact, it’s not unlikely to see more than 5 or 10 offers put in on one property—so as you can imagine, work has been insane & business is booming!

Here are 2 Tips for Buyers & Sellers:
Buyers need to be pre-approved and ready to go. It’s more competitive than ever and you should expect multiple offers if the home is priced accordingly and move-in ready. A big part of this is because interest rates remain the lowest they’ve been in years (2-4%) and you can definitely afford more house than you could a year ago. Sellers need to have their homes move-in ready and the easiest way to do this is to use a professional stager like my friend and colleague, Candace Mary Interiors. Candace can do walkthroughs where she makes suggestions on what you should move around or add before a showing, or you can hire her for a full stage!
