Get up close and personal with my newest obsession: Monica’s Gourmet Cookies!

What would the holiday season be without cookies?

Let’s be really honest here, folks…What would any week be without at least one cookie…? If you know me well, you know I have a sweet tooth and cannot resist a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie. So, let me just cut to the chase and tell you about my NEW FAVORITE COOKIE OBSESSION that I recently found at my favorite local grocery store: Westborne Market!

Introducing: Monica’s Gourmet Cookies!!!

These are the jars that Monica’s Gourmet Cookies are often displayed in - so look for the giant cookie jar and you are in the right place :)

This brand is new to me…but has been around for some time now! So, if you haven’t had them, then run, don’t walk to the Monica’s Gourmet Cookies website or to a local grocery store like Westborne!

The story of how Monica’s Gourmet Cookies began is such a cute story…In 1991, while confined to bed rest during a high-risk pregnancy, Monica recorded all her cravings and treat ideas with pen and paper… and then post-pregnancy, after giving birth to her second daughter, she finally returned to that list of potential concoctions that she had scribbled down while pregnant!

Eventually several months then years later (love a good work-your way-up story!), she perfected her recipes and now you can find them at local grocers in Michigan and online. She has extended her sweet offerings to include vegan, gluten-free, and lactation versions as well! There is something for everyone and I highly recommend these treats.
